Out of my bondage, sorrow and night,
Jesus, I come,

Into Your freedom, gladness and light,

Out of my shameful failure and dross,
Jesus I come,

Into the glorious gain of Your cross,
Jesus, I come to You!
Out of my foolish and ungrateful pride,
Jesus, I come,

Into Your mercies ten thousand beside,
Jesus, I come to You!
Out of my terror and dread of the grave,
Jesus, I come,

Into the arms that are mighty to save,
