Jo Dover grew up in Benson, North Carolina and has never lived anywhere but NC. Her salvation story began at 10 years old thanks to a wonderful 5th grade teacher who taught Bible lessons every day and she accepted Christ at the alter of her church.
She attended both ECU and Cambell and got her degree in Education. Jo taught middle school for 30 years in the public school system. Along with teaching she worked with the state department of public instruction, going into low performing schools and giving free workshops that helped teachers better reach at-risk children.
She has been married for 55 years to her husband Terry, and is a mother of two sons and a grandmother to five grandsons. They have attended The Shepherds Church for over 25 years; and Jo is excited to help Wisdom reach listeners with the gospel.
