Sabbath Psalm 15
(from the song, ‘Restored’)
From death into life; even life everlasting—by grace we will persevere. Goodbye to the world; the pleasures are passing—we’re pilgrims and strangers here. In righteousness we stand: press on to the Promised Land: upheld by The Father’s hand we sing. From faith to faith we come: sin’s curse has been undone: the grave is overrun by our King.
Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus Christ: He is risen! Our redemption is secured. Let us cast aside all the doubts we hide: we’re forgiven! We have been wholly restored. Hallelujah! We are slaves to sin no more!
At war with the flesh; we live by The Spirit—through Him we are sanctified. God’s word is our guide; we’re learning to fear it—to walk with it stride for stride. In victory we rise: press on to win the prize: till we look in His eyes and hear “well done!” The cross our milestone: along this journey home: to know as we are known—“Lord, I come!”
