Genesis 1:28b
And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
You have a place in this world today, friend, and it’s a sanctified place, a blessed place, a divine place, and Genesis 1:28 is here to remind you of that whenever you forget it. Maybe today you feel stagnant in your work, or maybe you think your ministry isn’t affecting much. But God crafted you to bear fruit and you’ll accomplish that as you walk faithfully with Him. Maybe you feel lonely in life and that you’re no help to anybody. But God crafted you to multiply, and you’ll accomplish that as you share your faith with others. Maybe you feel subservient to other people’s visions or that you’re always behind on the calendar. But God crafted you to have dominion, and you’ll answer that high calling by giving your all: one prayer, one word, and one work at a time.
Friend, keep our Lord’s Matthew 28:19-20 commission close to heart today, but keep His Genesis 1:28 commission just as close. Because it’s just as vital.
