The Journey Through Ezra

The Wisdom Journey through Ezra

The divine judgment of captivity in Babylon was not the end for God’s chosen people. This chastising work of the Lord was designed to bring about the return of the people, both to Him and to their homeland. This is the message of the book of Ezra—God is faithful to His Word and faithful to His people. He longs for them to love, serve, and worship Him in holiness, and He provides all that is necessary for them to do that. The path for the returning exiles would not be easy, but it would bring the joy of renewed faith and restored worship.
