The Journey Through Ezekiel
The Wisdom Journey through Ezekiel
While Jeremiah faithfully served the Lord in Jerusalem in dark days, Ezekiel was just as faithfully prophesying among the captives who had already been taken to Babylon. He warned the people there about their disobedience to the Lord and of divine judgment to come. But after the fall of Jerusalem, his prophecies turned to messages of hope for a future restoration of the nation. The book of Ezekiel reminds us today that God is always just but also always merciful.
