The Journey Through Titus
Titus was Paul’s companion in the apostle’s missionary work. He was a faithful servant of the Lord whom Paul entrusted with important responsibilities in the newly established churches on the island of Crete. In this short letter, Paul reminds Titus of his obligation to appoint qualified elders in the churches, confront false doctrine, and teach sound doctrine and its application to the various groups who make up the church. Through the lens of Titus’s duties, we see clearly how Christian doctrine relates to our daily lives.
