The Journey Through James
James wrote his only New Testament letter to Jewish believers scattered about the Roman Empire. His concern was that many of these Christians were not living in accordance with their profession of faith in Christ. They were influenced by the world and acting too much like the world. They needed to be doers of the Word, not just hearers of the Word. They needed to have a living faith, not just a confessing faith.
