The Journey Through 1 Thessalonians
The book of 1 Thessalonians was one of the earliest of the apostle Paul’s letters. He had spent only a short time in the city of Thessalonica but clearly was very close to the believers in the church he established there. His letter has a very personal tone, as he recalls his ministry to the Thessalonian Christians and expresses his longing to see them again. It is filled with concise instructions on how to live for the Lord and please Him. The letter’s main theme, though, is Jesus’ return. Here we find details about the rapture and its very practical impact upon our lives today.
