How can we pray for you?

Moldova, located between Romania and Ukraine, is one of the smallest and poorest countries in Europe. With a population of about 2.5 million, Moldova is rich in history and culture but burdened by economic hardship, emigration, and political instability. Most Moldovans identify as Orthodox Christians, but for many, faith is more cultural than personal. Evangelical believers make up a small percentage of the population but are active in sharing the gospel and serving their communities. There is openness to spiritual conversations, especially among the younger generation and in rural areas. Still, there is a great need for deep discipleship, pastoral training, and healthy, gospel-preaching churches.

This week, we invite you to pray for Moldova. Ask God to bring spiritual renewal, strengthen the evangelical church, and call many Moldovans to a true and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.

Ways to Pray for Moldova:

1. Pray for spiritual awakening, that Moldovans would move from religious tradition to genuine faith in Jesus.

2. Ask God to strengthen and multiply evangelical churches, especially in rural towns and villages.

3. Pray for pastors and church planters, that they would be faithful in teaching God’s Word and caring for their people.

4. Lift up young people, many of whom are spiritually open but lack biblical guidance.

5. Intercede for families, especially those affected by poverty, addiction, and emigration.

6. Pray for Christian ministries caring for orphans, widows, and the poor, that their work would reflect Christ’s love.

7. Ask God to raise up local leaders, equipped to serve their communities with truth and compassion.

8. Pray against corruption and injustice, and for righteousness to be established in public life.

9. Lift up missionaries and Christian workers, that they would be encouraged, safe, and effective.

10. Pray for gospel access, that Bibles and discipleship materials would be available and widely used.

11. Ask God to unite evangelical believers, across denominations and generations, in a shared gospel mission.

12. Pray that Moldova would become a sending nation, raising up missionaries and leaders for the global church.
