Have I become bored? Have I become too at ease? Does the thought of You, Lord, still bring me down to my knees? Have I become proud? Have I dumbed You down to size? Is the sight of You now still blinding my sinful eyes?
Show me Your glory again! Spirit, descend! Cause my heart to weep. Give me a vision of You! Convict me anew! And wake me from my sleep.
Let me behold You! Let me behold just a glimpse of Your glory. I want to know You, and live like Your more than just words in a story. Let me behold You! Till my face is shining with all of your brightness. I want to know You, and walk every day in the light of Your likeness. Let me behold You! So near that I lose sight of everything else. I want to know You! So well that I lose even thought of myself.
