Mark 13:11
“And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.”

Haven’t you been caught off guard as a Christian? Haven’t you experienced those sudden moments when a stranger knocks at your door or you run into an old acquaintance at the grocery store and you don’t quite know what to say? I can think of specific times in my life where I felt shell-shocked and I couldn’t even stutter my way through a basic gospel presentation. But that’s where the Spirit really shines, isn’t it? That’s where we learn afresh that the God who spoke the world into existence doesn’t need our little lungs and vocal chords after all; but He graciously uses them anyway. So, today, follow the Spirit of God in all of your walking…

And let Him do the talking!

Further Reflection
