Genesis
Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). Word by word, atom by atom, molecule by molecule, Christ, the Divine Gardener, sowed the seed of the cosmos into being, watering time and space with the very breath of His mouth. But that was only the beginning. Later, in an outdoor stable, at a moment in time, the Divine Sower sowed Himself into the world in order to redeem and restore it anew.
And for those who trust Him by faith today, that is only the beginning!
