The Wisdom International Team

Karina Morato joined Wisdom International in August 2024 as the Spanish Communications Coordinator. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she has served alongside her husband for 26 years as a pastor’s wife, missionary, and church planter. Her experience working in various Latin American countries has given her a deep understanding of the multiple cultures and needs of the Hispanic community.

Karina earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and her Bachelor's in Biblical Sciences from Moody Bible Institute. She recently moved to the Raleigh area to serve with her husband at Shepherd’s en Español, the Hispanic ministry of The Shepherd’s Church. She is the mother of two godly young women and a new grandmother. Her mission is to reach the Hispanic community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serve through biblical counseling.
