Antichrist and the Many Faces of Evil - Revelation 12:1 - 13:18

Originally preached on November 2008 – March 2009

The Antichrist; 666––the Mark of the Beast; the end of the world . . . as we know it. These are all images commonly drawn from the Book of Revelation. In chapters 12 & 13, Stephen Davey gives a behind-the-scenes look at the unholy trinity––bloodthirsty, and at the center of it all. Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet are the dragon, his chief spokesman, and his minister of propaganda who savor the death and destruction of the coming judgment during the period known as the great and awesome Day of the Lord. Their agenda is clear:  world domination. Their methods are brutal:  insatiable destruction and oppression. Their end is certain: defeat, impotence, and everlasting hell. Their "fifteen minutes of fame" bolster them with the delusion that their evil ways will triumph.

Originally preached on November 2008 – April 2009

Hidden in the pages of the Old Testament is the beautiful story of love and redemption between a wealthy landowner and a poor widow. The story of Ruth and Boaz, carefully explained by Stephen Davey, will dazzle the imagination and ignite the emotions. Walk beneath the shadows of despair as Ruth and Naomi eke out an existence by foraging for leftover grain. Feel the emotions of Boaz as he carefully protects Ruth while secretly yearning for her affections. Watch in amazement as the  sovereign hand of God reveals the end of the  story, the fairytale comes true . . . "and they  lived happily ever after."
