    When Lightning Strikes - Job 1:1 - 2:10

Originally preached on January – February 2007

All it took was 39 seconds, and Job's world was turned upside down. Like a bolt of lightning, death and destruction arrived leaving nothing in their wake. In less than a minute, all of Job's hopes, plans, and dreams were gone; it took only a few moments to turn this wealthy father into a penniless, childless mourner. Stephen Davey examines the suffering of Job and the sovereignty of God. For anyone who has experienced the thunderbolt of suffering, the testimony of Job and His God offers comfort and perspective. There is hope even When Lightning Strikes.
